Fine example of original NEWARI style thangka ( also known as Paubha) of Green Tara. This thangka was painted by a highly trained Nepali thangka artist, specialized in this discipline. Indeed, Newari style thangkas differ markedly from Tibetan thangkas. In this painting, the artist uses bright colours of many hues according to tradition.
